Sometimes I question city and county leadership on how they adjust their growth boundaries.

I have always hated having the city nearby governed by three different counties. Everyone living in the suburbs or rural areas who hates city rules ends up being handed their laws anyway, because the majority of the county population lives on the edge of the city.

And parents are always complaining that their school boards redistrict in ways that their kids can't go to the school down the street, but instead the other side of town, all for political and financial gain that only benefits the elected leaders.

Gerrymandering is bad enough. I would prefer if land boundaries for voting districts were set by the natural geography foremost, as that is too expensive and disruptive for most politicians to attempt to alter.
