Always enjoyed using the wacom. It feels very natural to draw on the surface while looking up at a monitor. It also came with some painting software that did a good job of simulating various brushes, paint types, and paper textures and porosity.

My only complaint (this was from years ago) was the pressure sensitivity did not work very well with most programs. The included software also did not have many save options for useful file types compatible with other software, unless you purchased an additional licence.

When line thickness and opacity is determined by the pen pressure, everything suddenly feels realistic and natural. Makes you want to practice signing your name, penmanship, or simple line strokes over and over, as you no longer have any concerns for wasting paper.
