  2. Daytime Meadow: A Basic Landscape Painting Tutorial

Art Session # 1: Dream Land

So here are the materials that you'll need:

Materials...
Paint BrushFlat and Pointed
Acrylic / Latex PaintBlack , Blue and White or a color of your choice, You can also use Poster paint if you want
SpongeFor Stamping
Canvasor any board that can withstand acrylic or latex paint
WaterFor Cleaning the Brush
Prepare the background by applying a black paint on the top of the canvas. Then apply a blue paint after the black one to create a gradient effect. Blend the two colors with brush.
To complete the background, add a white paint on the remaining space of the canvas and make sure to mix it well with the blue one. You can add water (small part) on the painting to smoothen the gradient effect. You can add more details on the background. You can also apply different colors such as violet, green or anything you want to show and express.

Using your brush and white paint with small amount of water ( that should be mixed very well) sprinkle the paint on the paint. You can tap your paint brush on top of your painting. Apply as many as you want.We will stamp a moon using a circular sponge with white paint. Think where you want to put the moon. Press the sponge against the canvas
And you have the moon.Next is to add your landscape. In this part I added mountain range using white paint.
To add the tress, i used black paint and a fine brush. And then Add the leaves of your trees as much as you want to..

Art Session # 2: Daytime Meadow

Using the same materials on the Art Session # 1, you can create another landscape painting.

PaintingSteps
Paint a background using the combination of your blue and white paint. This will be your sky.
You can create a gradient effect by applying blue at the top of your canvas and gradually adding white. Or, you can just paint a plain background.
Add clouds by dabbing a sponge with white paint on the canvas. You can be as spontaneous as you want.
You can also add a semi-realistic effect on your clouds by applying a thin paint first and then adding a new thick layer of white paint on it.
Paint hills using green paint. You can be as creative as you want to be! It can be a mountain or a field or anything!!!
In this part, I added tree trunks usinh a pointed brush.
Then, using a darker shade of green, I painted its leaves. It's a little bit cartoony, but if you want a more detailed leaves you can use the pointed brush to paint smaller leaves.
A lighter shade of green is painted on the leaves to make a depth on the painting.and add little details
