This portrait I shot of a personal trainer at my gym was achieved by placing her in the shade right near the shadows edge. The sun is directly behind her and I have an assistant holding a reflector in front of her and below the camera. This creates an interesting rim lighting caused by the sun an a beautiful soft diffused light from the reflector that is flattering to the skin.
