Hahaha yup the emu egg is quite another story in itself!

I wish I would first taste an ostrich egg omlette lol. The lamp looked amazing and from what I have found out there was a dentist who made a special drill in order to carve the egg. So it is a very precise and expensive hobby.

I admit that I am curious about trying that too as well. One sculpted egg can go up to 9000 dollars if the art is good. Quite a significant profit right? I have no idea how expensive ostrich caring can be though
