Haha. I felt like being honest. For me it was a long journey until I finally managed to :1) get to know myself better as a person, my likes and dislikes, 2) beginning to accept that I am an introvert and that is perfectly fine. I suffered a lot in my teen years because of my secluded nature and somehow the idea that being an introvert and not liking social interaction that much instilled inside of me, making me feel somehow "wrong" with my type of personality . I can become a social chameleon and look like the happiest extrovert, but I can't do it for long because it drains the life out of me lol. My acceptance of my introvert side makes me want to find better alternatives for what I do for a living because I realize that our personality needs to fit right into our job. I am still processing ideas. I highly recommend a book which made me accept, embrace and glorify my introvert nature, it is called Quiet by Susan Cain. It is a badass book.
I observe two things when people call you to meet or do things with them:
A. They are bored and need someone to entertain them and make them forget about their own boredom. This is not the best quality time to have with someone. These are the types of meetings which can go for hours talking about nothing or gossiping everybody. There will always be that one person who will want to meet with you everyday not because they value their time or yours , but just because they have nothing better to do. Of course that they do not admit this to you or to themselves . LOL.
B. They genuinely want to meet with you because they value your presence. They make time for you, they do not fill in the gaps with your presence, they might not meet you often, but when they do, you know that there will be something to learn from that meeting. Introverts usually love this type of interaction. Once in a while. Solid. We don't have to do small talk. We talk ideas. We dream . We uplift each other. We talk matters of the soul. I take this kind of " wanna meet with me" versus "let's talk about the Simpsons for the 20th time".
So I get you when you say nop, no thans, well not this time, maybe later, nop, doodly doodly noh lol. Being able to say NO can earn you tons of time for yourself = a mine gold for the introvert.
Thanks so much for the appreciation, I might try to take this type of photography a bit further and explore more. I am such a curious person I will try to be creative in every action I can imagine 🤣
