Uh I felt like I have assisted a game of mental chess by reading your reply. Which was totally cool and challenging in the good way.
So you made a huge career shift. Brave. How long did it take you? How did you find the direction you truly wanted to go toward? How did you cope with the anxiety? I would love to know.
The meaning of life sounds so profound that it is also scary. Like you have to have this figured out or else...you have missed it. I find that the biggest pressure is the one we put on ourselves. It is good to learn how to be gentle with ourselves in such moments because of the high expectations we as adults have from ourselves.
It's like, if you could wake up in your dreams tonight and do anything you wanted to for a few hours, then what would you do? To me that is a simple definition of life.
I liked this a lot. For me the answer would be to sit in nature, maybe reading or painting. I could do this for hours and not get bored at all.
If you would ask yourself this question now, what would be the answer?
