Hey! Thanks so much for your kind words!
I think that it is good to also sit alone with your thoughts and reflect on your inner world. It is a sort of self evaluation that I have learned to make , it helps me become a little better every day. If one sits too much with others then there is no more time left for inner introspection.
It took me a lot of courage for finally inviting him in. I just tend to be cautious and I am used with being mostly alone and I took an oath toward myself as in being a tiny bit more open. Baby steps. In the same time I just want to be me and take my time. I do not think it is wise to let one's guard down too soon as people need to prove their character .
Overall this was a challenge I wanted to conquer for myself, no matter what he thought after this experience. For me it was huge to be able to do a nice gesture towards a man after a long time of dealing with...just putting it plainly...assholes. So yup, I am proud of this tiny heart healing again and enjoying life just as it is. Obviously this post is about more than coffee haha.
