You have mentioned a very important word: stigmatization. Both extroverts and introverts have different labels put on them and this prevents the individuals to be valued for their real qualities. We have a bit of both in our personality. I also loathe small talks but with the right people I will talk, oh boy I will talk hahaha.
I guess that society has promoted the cult of extroverts ignoring the fact that many accomplishments were realized by quiet, introverted people.
