Chasing money is never a good path towards happiness. We all know cases of seriously rich people who are miserable and sad.
Doing what you love is the way to go, as long as it does not suck the life out of you. A good balance is maybe the way? Enough money, passion, time etc. The definition of enough is what puts some people in their knees working until their life is over.
