Many people just numb themselves in front of TV trying to forget the hard life and their struggles, hoping the entertainment will make it go away. And the next day this is repeating over and over.
The rise in illness is concerning, as one might ask themselves what are the odds of living much after you retire, in order to collect your contributions? Exhausting jobs suck the life out of the people and many do not live long enough to get what they deserve. Is it fair? Is the alternative better for those who do not do the heavy lifting and choose to carpe diem? It is questionable as you do not know what is worse: to be rich and sick at old age, or healthy and having to work to make a living.
The irony is that we all hoard funds for an imaginary happy future when we will be able to enjoy life as in the present.... Many fail to be happy now. I think that this runing rabbit is never going to be caught by us and that is certainty that all of your efforts shall not be in vain. We never know what we are going to get so we might as well just do our best to play with the cards that life has given us.
