There is something about warmth which feels cosy. For relaxation and sleeping, having warm lights is very helpful as it does not interfere with the release of melatonin as much a blue led lights do.
For me, the ideal way of sleeping, at least in the winters, would be in front of a fireplace, hearing the wood crackling and smelling that warm woody scent.
You left earlier from work, that's great. If you took that time to chill and relax, that's even better
