Of course I expected a global food crisis to occur after Russia invaded Ukraine , infact the global economy was already facing alot of challenges and problems which was caused by some man-made conflicts , the climate shocks and even the covid-19 were among some factors which caused issues for the global economy and it really had so much devastating consequences for those who had low-income and those who were living in developing countries.
The food crisis will keep increasing if the war do not end and that would be more devastating and more alarm , I believe that every international community should learn lessons from this current Ukraine crisis..
They need to understand that the world is now so interconnected and we should never assume that food insecurity in a particular country will not affect other countries or our country or that the conflict in another country will not have any impact on us..The fact is that the current crisis between Russia and Ukraine will have effects on everyone and the global food crisis is one of the effects which will be felt by the whole world sooner or later..
So something urgently has to be done to be able to curtail the food crisis globally and to ensure that the problem is fixed as soon as possible..
