Lo que está de moda hoy. Es inevitable no involucrarse con la moda, ella te persigue a donde quiera que vas. Saben que he estado saliendo varias veces por semana, esto me ha permitido visualizar los accesorios que llevan hoy en día las personas. Tanto mujeres como hombres están luciendo muy bien vestidos y arreglados. Entre los accesorios que más destacan pude ver los sujetadores de lentes y de tapabocas. La mayoría realizados con cadenas, bisutería e hilos.

Con la intención de hacer un modelo sencillo busqué los hilos para realizar un sujetador y tener de muestra. Me gusta mucho como se ven en otras personas, pero realmente no creo que yo quiera usarlos. A pesar de que no es nada novedoso, al menos usándolo en los lentes, este accesorio ya es moda. Lo veo excelente para los niños y las personas que usan dos pares de lentes a la vez. Igual para aquellas que por alguna razón los lentes le quedan flojos.

With the intention of making a simple model I looked for the threads to make a bra and have a sample. I really like the way they look on other people, but I don't think I really want to wear them. Even though it's nothing new, at least wearing it on glasses, this accessory is already fashionable. I think it's great for kids and people who wear two pairs of glasses at a time. It's also great for those who for some reason have loose fitting glasses.

Mi mamá tuvo una caída que le inmovilizó su brazo derecho. Está asistiendo a terapias hasta lograr que su brazo y mano estén recuperadas. En la caída ella partió los lentes correctivos de uso diario. Mi hermana se los remendó, pero de vez en cuando se le salen solos, sobre todo cuando inclina la cabeza hacia abajo. No sé si ella quisiera usar estos sujetadores, pero los hice pensando en su comodidad y en su coquetería.

My mom had a fall that immobilized her right arm. She is attending therapies until her arm and hand are recovered. In the fall she broke her daily corrective lenses. My sister patched them for her, but from time to time they come out on their own, especially when she tilts her head down. I don't know if she would want to wear these bras, but I made them with her comfort and coquetry in mind.

Necesité muy poco hilo. Usé el pabilo blanco para hacer la cadena base, hilo acrílico color rojo y blanco para hacer el diseño, dos gomas para sujetadores, cuatro perlas plateadas, tijeras, aguja lanera y aguja de crochet de 2,5 mm.

Lo primero que hice fue tomar el hilo blanco, medí 15 cm y a partir de allí tejí 60 cm de cadena. Procurando que no me quedaran tan apretadas.

En el último punto cadena coloqué un marcador de puntos y allí lo dejé.

I needed very little thread. I used the white wick to make the base chain, red and white acrylic thread to make the design, two rubber bands for fasteners, four silver beads, scissors, a wool needle and a 2.5 mm crochet needle.

The first thing I did was to take the white thread, measure 15 cm and from there I wove 60 cm of chain. I made sure that they were not too tight.

In the last chain stitch I placed a stitch marker and left it there.

Tomé la cadeneta desde el primer punto tejido. En ese primer punto tejí un punto deslizado, dejando previamente 15 cm de hilo suelto. Para este diseño usé dos hebras de hilo acrílico, color rojo y blanco. Luego tejí otro punto deslizado en la cadena siguiente y a partir de allí se repite:

1punto cadena al aire, 1punto deslizado en el siguiente punto cadena de la base.

I picked up the chain stitch from the first knit stitch. In that first stitch I knit a slip stitch, leaving 15 cm of loose yarn beforehand. For this design I used two strands of acrylic yarn, red and white. Then I knit another slip stitch in the next chain and from there it repeats:

1 chain stitch in the air, 1 slipped stitch in the next chain stitch from the base.

Esto se repite hasta terminar los 60 cm de cadeneta. Yo procuré tejer suelto para que no se enrolle el hilo ya que es acrílico.

This is repeated until you have finished 60 cm of chain stitch. I tried to weave loosely so that the yarn does not curl up since it is acrylic.

Al finalizar dejé 15 cm de hilos rojo y blanco. Con estos hilos hice un nudo tomando también el hilo pabilo blanco.

En la hebra de pabilo blanco metí dos perlas plateadas y una goma de sujetadores. Para asegurarlo pasé el hilo de regreso por las dos perlas. Nuevamente al final hice otros nudos y con la aguja escondí los sobrantes.

At the end I left 15 cm of red and white threads. With these threads I made a knot taking also the white wick thread.

In the strand of white wick I put two silver beads and a rubber band. To secure it I passed the thread back through the two beads. Again at the end I made other knots and with the needle I hid the leftovers.

Me encanta este diseño porque se asemeja al cordón romano. Podemos usar cualquier clase de hilo y quedarán muy bonitos. Si los quieres hacer para niños las medidas podrían ser entre 50 cm ó 55 cm de largo.

En la otra punta de la cadena repetí el proceso para colocar las perlas y la goma.

I love this design because it resembles the Roman cord. We can use any kind of thread and they will look very nice. If you want to make them for children the measures could be between 50 cm or 55 cm long.

On the other end of the chain I repeated the process to place the beads and the rubber band.

Al terminarlo lo probé en mis lentes 😁 se ve muy bien. Tiene la medida perfecta. Las gomas se ajustan según la posición que elijas en el paletón del lente.

When I finished it I tried it on my glasses 😁 it looks great. It is the perfect size. The rubber bands adjust depending on the position you choose on the lens stick.

Me gusta mucho el resultado. Ya lo saben, si quieren aprovechar las hebras de hilo que les van quedando este sería un buen proyecto para hacerlo. Además te involucras con la moda. Ha sido todo por ahora. Volveremos a vernos pronto.
