Hola amigos 👋🏽 espero que estén muy bien. El día de hoy quiero compartirles el proceso para la elaboración de un lindo, cómodo y práctico porta termo con motivo de Hello Kitty. Desde hace unos días lo comencé a tejer, pero me vi en la obligación de hacer pausa en el tejido ya que no conseguía el resto de los hilos para terminarlo. Resulta que yo compré algunas madejas en ofertas e inicié con ellas varios proyectos, entre ellos este porta termo. El hilo rosado no me alcanzó y a pesar de que salí a buscar más no hallé del mismo tono por lo que seguí con el tejido pausado. Ayer volví a salir a buscar y encontré un color casi idéntico y al fin pude terminarlo. Aquí les comparto parte del proceso y los materiales que utilicé para hacerlo. ¡Bienvenidos!

Hello friends 👋🏽 I hope you are doing well. Today I want to share with you the process of making a cute, comfortable and practical Hello Kitty thermos holder. A few days ago I started to knit it, but I had to pause knitting because I couldn't find the rest of the yarns to finish it. It turns out that I bought some skeins on sale and started several projects with them, among them this thermos holder. The pink yarn was not enough and even though I went out to look for more, I couldn't find the same shade, so I kept on with the weaving paused. Yesterday I went out to look again and found an almost identical color and finally I was able to finish it. Here I share with you part of the process and the materials I used to make it. Welcome!

Materiales/Materials.

Para elaborar este proyecto utilicé los siguientes materiales:

• Hilos acrílicos denominados estambre escolar.
• Aguja de 2,50mm.
• Aguja lanera.
• Tijeras.

To make this project I used the following materials:

• Acrylic yarn called school yarn.
• 2.50mm needle.
• Wool needle.
• Scissors.

Elaboración/Elaboration.

😻 El tejido se comienza desde un anillo mágico de 12 puntos altos. Es para hacer la base. Luego se teje una vuelta de 12 puntos altos. Enseguida una vuelta de 1pa-1aum. Otra de 2pa-1aum. Seguimos con una vuelta más de 3pa-1aum. De esta manera haremos el ancho o tamaño de la base, podemos usar el termo o la botella para ir tomando la medida.
😻 Al tener tejida la base continuamos tejiendo solamente vueltas sin aumentos. Como pueden ver yo tejí vueltas combinadas de hilo color rosado e hilo color blanco. Con el hilo color blanco tejí las vueltas con punto bajo ya que solo quería hacer un detalle entre las vueltas. El resto del tejido lo hice en puntos altos.
😻 Tejí todas las vueltas necesarias hasta cubrir casi toda la botella.
😻 En las tres últimas vueltas tejí vueltas de puntos bajos usando de nuevo el hilo blanco alternado con el rosado.

😻 The knitting is started from a magic ring of 12 high stitches. It is to make the base. Then knit one round of 12 double crochet. Then one row of 1pa-1aum. Another round of 2pa-1aum. We continue with one more row of 3pa-1aum. In this way we will make the width or size of the base, we can use the thermos or the bottle to take the measure.
😻 Once the base is knitted we continue knitting only rows without increases. As you can see, I knit a combination of pink and white yarn. With the white yarn I knitted the rows in single crochet because I only wanted to make a detail between the rows. The rest of the knitting I did in high stitch.
😻 I knitted all the loops needed to cover almost the entire bottle.
😻 In the last three loops I knitted in single crochet using again the white yarn alternating with the pink yarn.

😻 El siguiente paso es tejer los detalles del porta termo. Realicé un lazo pequeño para colocar sobre un aplique de hello Kitty que ya tenía tejido. Este aplique fue uno de los primeros que yo tejí. Usé el hilo estambre color fucsia para tejer el lazo. Se inicia desde un anillo mágico, dentro se teje 3c-3pa-2c-1pd-2c-3pa-3c-1pd. Se hala la hebra del anillo y se envuelve con ella el centro del lazo. Se remata y se pega el lazo al aplique. Este aplique se cose en el cuerpo del porta termo.

😻 The next step is to knit the details of the thermos holder. I made a small loop to place over a hello Kitty applique that I already had knitted. This applique was one of the first ones I knitted. I used the fuchsia worsted yarn to weave the loop. You start from a magic ring, inside you weave 3c-3pa-2c-1pd-2c-3pa-3c-1pd. Pull the ring strand and wrap it around the center of the loop. The loop is finished off and glued to the applique. This applique is sewn onto the body of the thermos holder.

Me encantó hacer este porta termo. Una vez que tejí todo el porta termo enganché de nuevo los hilos, ambos colores, en uno de los laterales de la última vuelta, desde allí comencé a tejer el asa. Tejí algunas vueltas de puntos bajos. Como ven el asa es corta como la del porta termo del hombre araña que ya había tejido antes.

I loved making this thermos holder. Once I knitted the whole thermos holder I hooked the yarns again, both colors, on one of the sides of the last round, from there I started to knit the handle. I knitted a few rounds of single crochet. As you can see the handle is short like the one on the spiderman thermos holder that I had knitted before.

😻 Se me ocurrió tejer también un protector de lápiz. Solo tejí la cabeza desde un am de 6pb. Aumenté hasta 2pb-1aum. Tejí tres vueltas de solo puntos bajos y luego tejí las disminuciones. Ya les he mostrado antes como se tejen estos protectores. Junté los tres proyectos de Hello Kitty que tenía tejido y armé un juego o set. ¿Cómo lo ven?

😻 It occurred to me to also knit a pencil guard. I just knit the head from a 6pb am. I increased to 2pb-1aum. I knit three rounds of only low stitches and then knit the decreases. I've shown you how to knit these bumpers before. I put together the three Hello Kitty projects I had knitted and put together a set. How do you see it?
