Esta idea surgió al ver a unas niñas en el autobús sacando del bolsillo de su pantalón escolar un lápiz labial para retocarse. En algunos liceos permiten llevar morrales de malla o transparentes con la finalidad de poder visualizar lo que llevan los chamos dentro de ellos. Esta medida se tomó por seguridad.

Pensando en la comodidad de las chicas tejí un PORTALÁPIZ LABIAL para dejarlo de modelo y mostrarlo a las interesadas. Ahora voy a contarles sobre el paso a paso.

💄 Para realizarlo vamos a emplear hilos de crochet o pabilo, aguja de crochet, aguja lanera, tijeras, botones, hilos de coser, cadena, aro para llaveros y broche pequeño.

PASO 1 👠

Inicia con un anillo mágico (AM) de siete puntos bajos (pb), en la siguiente vuelta teje dos pb en cada pb de la vuelta anterior.

PASO 2 👠

A partir de la tercera vuelta vas a tejer solo pb hasta completar el número de vueltas necesarias para cubrir el labial. Puedes hacer cambios de colores según el diseño que hayas escogido. Para ello solo deberás cerrar el último punto de la vuelta tomando la hebra del siguiente color.

STEP 2 👠

Después empieza a realizar disminuciones al empezar y terminar la vuelta para dejarla redondeada. Cierra y remata la labor.

STEP 3 👠

You will make the flap or lid of the LIP COVER. Start with eight chains. Immediately knit loops of single crochet until you reach the height needed according to the design. I was guided by a design I drew on a piece of paper.

Es un proyecto que podemos hacer rápido. Yo me tardé un poco porque mi hijo necesitó que lo orientara para realizar un patrón tejido. Solo de di algunas sugerencias y le recordé cómo hacer los puntos que me pidió. Por supuesto que le mostré mediante un ejemplo y luego él hizo el suyo. Me hace feliz saber que al menos uno de mis hijos se interesa por aprender de todo un poco. Nunca está de más conocer sobre un arte tan bonito que se puede convertir en un oficio más adelante.

It's a project we can do quickly. It took me a while because my son needed some guidance to make a knitted pattern. I just gave him some suggestions and reminded him how to make the stitches he asked for. Of course I showed him by example and then he made his own. It makes me happy to know that at least one of my children is interested in learning a little about everything. It never hurts to learn about such a beautiful art that can be turned into a trade later on.

PASO 4 👠

Cose en el PORTALÁPIZ LABIAL ambas partes del broche (ver imagen), cose el botón en el frente de la solapa y por último cose la solapa en la parte de atrás (dónde quedaron las costuras) del tejido.

STEP 4 👠

Stitch on the LIP PAPER HOLDER both parts of the brooch (see image), stitch the button on the front of the flap and finally stitch the flap on the back (where the seams were left) of the fabric.

Introduce una argolla pequeña en uno de los puntos del tejido. Luego mete en la argolla la cadena con el aro para llaveros y abalorios si es tu gusto.
