Hola amigos, feliz fin de semana para todos. Yo soy Lelys, me complace pasar de nuevo por la comunidad para mostrarles mi más reciente creación.
Les conté que estoy planificando un viaje ✈️ para Argentina en razón de que mi hijo mayor José Alejandro padece de una enfermedad denominada encefalitis autoinmune, él está recibiendo tratamiento por allá y haciendo terapias, pero el proceso de recuperación será muy lento. Él requiere atención permanente, las 24 horas del día. Es por ello que ya me estoy preparando y desde hace unos días guardé en mi maleta los pocos hilos que tengo. Sin embargo, había dejado unos hilos que tengo enrollados en palitos de madera. Hoy elegí uno de ellos para realizar mi creación. ¡Me encanta tejer con este hilo! Este me lo mandó mi hijo a principios del año pasado, es cien por cien de algodón y es muy suave.

I told you that I am planning a trip ✈️ to Argentina because my eldest son José Alejandro suffers from a disease called autoimmune encephalitis, he is receiving treatment there and doing therapies, but the recovery process will be very slow. He requires permanent attention, 24 hours a day. That is why I am already preparing myself and since a few days ago I kept in my suitcase the few threads I have. However, I had left some yarns that I have wound on wooden sticks. Today I chose one of them to make my creation, I love knitting with this yarn! This one was sent to me by my son at the beginning of last year, it is 100% cotton and is very soft.

Materiales/Materials.

😺 Para realizar este lindo proyecto utilicé los siguientes materiales:

• Hilo de algodón de 3mm color crema.
• Aguja de crochet de 3,25mm.
• Aguja lanera.
• Tijeras.
• Algodón para rellenar.
• Hilo de coser.
• Aguja de coser.
• Cuentas de Swarovski de 2mm. Colores azules y amarillo.
• Hebra de hilo pabilo color negro.
• Argolla para llaveros.
• Cinta de raso de 0,50cm.

😺 To make this cute project I used the following materials:

• 3mm cream colored cotton yarn.
• Crochet needle of 3,25mm.
• Wool needle.
• Scissors.
• Cotton for stuffing.
• Sewing thread.
• Sewing needle.
• Swarovski beads of 2mm. Blue and yellow colors.
• Strand of black wick thread.
• Ring for key rings.
• Satin ribbon of 0,50cm.

Procedimiento/Procedure.

😺 Empecé tejiendo 6pb dentro de un anillo mágico.
😺 Enseguida tejí una vuelta completa de aumentos.
😺 Luego una vuelta de 1pb-1aum.
😺 Después una vuelta entera de 2pb-1aum.
😺 A partir de esta vuelta tejí sin aumentos, en total fueron cinco vueltas de 24pb.
😺 Las siguientes vueltas fueron de disminuciones: 2pb-1dism. 1pb-1dism. 6 disminuciones.
😺 Coloqué el algodón para rellenar.

😺 I started by knitting 6pb inside a magic ring.
😺 Next I knit a full round of increases.
😺 Then a round of 1pb-1aum.
😺 Then a full round of 2pb-1aum.
😺 From this round on I knitted without increases, in total there were five rounds of 24bp.
😺 The following rounds were decreases: 2pb-1dism. 1pb-1dism. 6 decreases.
😺 I placed the cotton to fill in.

😺 Continué tejiendo la cabeza. Desde esa vuelta de 6 disminuciones levanté una vuelta de 6 aumentos para tener de nuevo 12pb.
😺 Tejí luego una vuelta de 1pb-1aum.
😺 Tejí después seis vueltas sin aumentos, coloqué el algodón para rellenar y cerré tejiendo solamente puntos deslizados.
😺 Al finalizar el cierre tejí ocho cadenas y 1pd para hacer una pequeña asa.

😺 I continued knitting the head. From that round of 6 decreases I picked up a round of 6 increases to again have 12bp.
😺 I then knit a round of 1pb-1aum.
😺 I then knit six rounds without increases, cast on the cotton to fill in and closed by knitting only slip stitches.
😺 At the end of the closing I knit eight chains and 1pd to make a small handle.

😺 Para darle la expresión al rostro y hacer las características de la cara del gato 😺 usé las cuentas de Swarovski. Cosí con la aguja y el hilo de coser 🪡 tal como pueden verlo en las imágenes.
😺 Con las cuentas de Swarovski de color azul 💙 hice sus ojos.
😺 Con la cuenta de Swarovski de color amarillo 💛 hice su nariz.
😺 Con el hilo pabilo color negro y la aguja lanera bordé los bigotes.

😺 To give the expression to the face and make the features of the cat's face 😺 I used Swarovski beads. I stitched with the needle and sewing thread 😺 as you can see in the pictures.
😺 With the blue colored Swarovski beads 💙 I made her eyes.
😺 With the yellow colored Swarovski bead 💛 I made his nose.
😺 I embroidered the whiskers with the black wick thread and the wool needle.

😺 Una vez que lo ví terminado 😸 pensé que le hacía falta una cola. Entonces enganché el hilo con el ganchillo en la parte de atrás del gato. Desde allí tejí una cadena de 10 puntos y sobre ella tejí 10 aumentos de puntos bajos. De esta manera se formó una colita rizada que después acomodé y cosí en la parte posterior y lateral del gato.
😸 Y para dar un toque más especial le coloqué la cinta de raso en el cuello y le hice un lazo.

😺 Once I saw it finished 😸 I thought it needed a tail. So I hooked the yarn with the crochet hook to the back of the cat. From there I knit a chain of 10 stitches and over it I knit 10 low stitch increases. This formed a curly tail which I then arranged and sewed onto the back and side of the cat.
😸 And for an extra special touch I placed the satin ribbon on the collar and made a bow.

😸 Quedé enamorada del resultado 😺

La verdad es que este hilo me gusta mucho. Siempre trabajo con pabilo porque es el más económico que puedo comprar, pero los hilos de algodón que me mandó mi hijo son hermosos. Espero poder comprar nuevos hilos una vez que esté allá en Mendoza con mi hijo.

The truth is that I really like this yarn. I always work with wick because it's the cheapest I can buy, but the cotton yarns my son sent me are beautiful. I hope to be able to buy new yarns once I am there in Mendoza with my son.
