El día de hoy quiero mostrarles el resultado final de un proyecto que realicé hace apenas unos días. Sucede que me gusta proteger los teléfonos con forros tejidos, descubrí que los que he realizado con hilo pabilo son resistentes y duraderos. Entonces ya me quería estrenar uno y decidí darle uso a unos ovillos que tenía ya casi por terminar. Espero que les guste y se animen a tejerlos, ya que empleé puntos básicos del crochet que son muy fáciles.

Today I want to show you the final result of a project I did just a few days ago. It happens that I like to protect phones with woven covers, I discovered that the ones I have made with wicker thread are resistant and durable. So I wanted to make one for the first time and I decided to give one to some balls of yarn that I had almost finished. I hope you like it and I encourage you to knit them, because I used basic crochet stitches that are very easy.

MATERIALES.

Hilos pabilos.
Aguja de crochet de 2,25mm.
Cordón elástico de 2mm de grosor.
Tijeras.
Aguja lanera.
Pegamento.
Figuras elaboradas previamente.

MATERIALS.

PROCEDIMIENTO.

Empecé tejiendo la cantidad de cadenas necesarias para hacer la base del forro, esta debe quedar al ras ya que al realizar las próximas vueltas crecerá un poco. Después de tener esta medida empecé a tejer solamente puntos altos desde el tercer punto cadena contando desde el ganchillo hasta el último punto de la cadeneta. En este último punto tejí no solo un punto alto sino tres, esto me permite girar y continuar tejiendo solamente puntos altos del otro lado de la cadeneta. Al llegar al punto donde comencé tejí un punto deslizado. Tomé el teléfono y le coloqué este forro a medio comenzar para comprobar su tamaño.

I started by knitting the amount of chains needed to make the base of the lining, this should be flush as it will grow a little when the next rounds are done. After I had this measurement I started to knit only the high stitches from the third chain stitch counting from the crochet hook to the last stitch of the chain stitch. In this last stitch I knit not only one single crochet but three, this allows me to turn and continue knitting only single crochet stitches on the other side of the chain. When I reached the point where I started I knit a slip stitch. I took the phone and placed this lining on it halfway through to check its size.

Seguí tejiendo vueltas tras vueltas de puntos altos. Quise combinar dos colores de hilo, por lo que ya tejidas unas pocas vueltas hice un cambio de color antes de iniciar una de las vueltas. Continué tejiendo puntos altos hasta alcanzar cubrir casi todo el teléfono.

I continued to knit round after round of purl stitches. I wanted to combine two colors of yarn, so after a few rounds I made a color change before starting one of the loops. I continued knitting in the high stitches until I had covered almost the entire phone.

Faltando algunos centímetros para tapar todo el teléfono cambié de nuevo el hilo a color celeste, con este realicé una vuelta completa de puntos bajos. Al empezar la segunda vuelta tomé el cordón elástico y lo posicioné en el lugar por donde hago las lazadas, a medida que fui tejiendo la segunda vuelta de puntos bajos fui atrapando entre los puntos el cordón. Finalizada la vuelta realicé un nudo seguro en los extremos del cordón elástico y luego tejí la tercera y última vuelta de puntos bajos. Cerré y rematé.

With a few centimeters left to cover the whole phone I changed the yarn again to light blue, with this one I knitted a complete row of single crochet stitches. At the beginning of the second row I took the elastic cord and positioned it in the place where I make the loops, as I was knitting the second row of single crochet stitches I caught the cord in three stitches. At the end of the row I tied a secure knot in the ends of the elastic cord and then I knitted the third and last row of single crochet stitches. I closed and finished off.

Es un forro sencillo. La novedad en este es el uso del cordón elástico. Me gustó mucho haberlo usado ya que este impedirá que el teléfono se deslice y se salga del forro. Generalmente llevo el teléfono en mi bolso, con estos forros se conservan libres de rayaduras y limpios. En la foto puedes ver los tres forros que tengo ahora. El más pequeño lo tejí hace cinco años, lo único que se dañó fue la figurita de masa flexible. Los colores están intacto y el hilo no ha perdido su forma a pesar de las lavadas. El de líneas de varios colores lo tejí hace tres años, fue uno de los primeros tutoriales que les compartí. ¿Cómo se ven?

It is a simple lining. The novelty in this one is the use of the elastic cord. I really liked using it as it will keep the phone from slipping and sliding out of the liner. I usually carry my phone in my purse, with these liners they stay scratch free and clean. In the photo you can see the three liners I have now. The smallest one I knitted five years ago, the only thing that got damaged was the flexible dough figurine. The colors are intact and the yarn has not lost its shape despite the washes. I knitted the multi-colored line one three years ago, it was one of the first tutorials I shared with you. How do they look?

Para no dejarlo tan simple decidí tomar algunas figuras que realicé con masa de arcilla, las pinté con pintura de uñas y las pegué sobre la parte de enfrente del forro, en la parte de atrás está escondido el nudo del elástico. Antes de pegar las figuras coloqué dentro del forro un cartón para evitar que se ensucie de pegamento por dentro. ¡Así quedó! Me encantó y pronto me lo voy a estrenar. La pila o batería del teléfono se dañó y estoy por comprarle una en estos días.

To keep it simple, I decided to take some figures I made with clay dough, painted them with nail polish and glued them on the front part of the lining, where the knot of the elastic is hidden on the back part. Before gluing the figures I placed a piece of cardboard inside the lining to prevent the glue from getting dirty inside. That's how it turned out! I loved it and I'm going to use it for the first time soon. The battery of the phone was damaged and I'm about to buy a new one these days.
