This collage felt much more fluid than the previous one. I automatically connected with the image. Ideas flooded dazing my senses. In that state of numbness I began a long but steady process. One of the things I really enjoy about this activity is how challenging it is. Developing my ideas demands deepening my design skills.
Este collage lo sentí mucho más fluído que el anterior. Conecte automáticamente con la imágen. Las ideas se agolparon atontando mis sentidos. En ese estado de sopor comencé un largo pero firme proceso. Una de las cosas que disfruto mucho de ésta actividad es lo desafiante. Desarrollar mis ideas demanda profundizar mis habilidades diseñando.
At the moment of writing these lines I feel frustrated and angry with myself. I missed the deadline even though my work was finished on time. World Cup times. I woke up at 7am to watch the Argentina game (the horrible Argentina game) and when it was over I decided to take a little nap that lasted much longer than expected.
Al momento de redactar estas líneas me siento frustrado y enojado conmigo mismo. Se me pasó la fecha de entrega aún teniendo el trabajo terminado a tiempo. Tiempos mundialistas. Desperté a las 7am para mirar el partido de Argentina (el horrible partido de Argentina) y cuando termino decidí dormir una pequeña siesta que se extendió mucho más de lo esperado.
Still, I'm very proud of the work I did this time. I dedicated a lot of time to invisible details, I changed things around, others were simply eliminated. During the week, I spent an hour or two in the evening every day. Photoshop is a tool that you immerse yourself in and time slips through your fingers like sand. I like to keep the essence and shape of the original image. But for someone distracted like me, it's comfortable to work with limits, who knows where you might end up.
Aún así, estoy muy orgulloso del trabajo que hice esta vez. Dediqué mucho tiempo a detalles invisibles, cambié cosas de lugar, otras simplemente se eliminaron. Durante la semana, diariamente le dedicaba una o dos horas de la noche. El photoshop es una herramienta en la que uno se sumerge y el tiempo se escurre como arena entre los dedos. Me gusta mantener la esencia y la forma de la imagen original. Pero para alguien disperso como yo es cómodo trabajar con límites, vaya a saber uno donde puede terminar.
I had a somewhat turbulent week. This digital canvas was a place to release tension and relax. I can't help but notice I'm in a very cartoon style, with willy wonka colors, I feel something in the purple, fluo green and yellows, so you may see more of this in my future deliveries. Deliveries that I hope to make in time and form.

Tuve una semana algo turbulenta. Este lienzo digital fue un lugar para liberar tensiones y distenderme. No puedo evitar notar estar con un estilo muy cartoon, con colores del estilo willy wonka, siento algo en el purpura, verde flúo y amarillos, asi que posiblemente vean mas de ésto en mis futuras entregas. Entregas que espero hacer en tiempo y forma.
