As atualizações recentes do Splinterlands mudaram totalmente a dinâmica do jogo. Para um novato como eu, ainda nem tinha um desenvolvimento estável e já se deparava com grandes mudanças.
Já abordei em outras postagens os aspectos de recompensas diárias. Também já contei minha história em como cheguei no modo Moderno, e hoje chegou a vez de contar minha pequena experiência nesta modalidade de jogo.
Quando eu decidi tentar o modo moderno tive que levar em conta que isso só seria interessante se eu jogasse uma temporada inteira, desde o início, pois ao que parece os modos de jogo compartilham do mesmo *Energy Capture Rate* (ECR). Então é insustentável tentar levar os dois modos simultaneamente pois suas recompensas diárias vão cair drasticamente ao gastar seu ECR. Acredito que isso seja claro para todos, então, um:
Foi o que eu fiz na temporada passada! Os primeiros dias da temporada foquei em subir de liga o mais rápido que eu conseguisse, e em seguida me estabilizar na liga PRATA, que é onde jogo naturalmente. Me adaptei rapidamente ao modo Moderno, deixando de utilizar as composições que eu mantinha por vício e comodidade na liga padrão Wild.
Acontece que algumas partidas não iam tão bem assim, as vezes com sequências de derrotas. Numa sequência de quatro derrotas resolvi que teria que investir em algumas cartas chave, e pelo meu perfil de jogo e as minhas características financeiras, acabei resolvendo comprar cartas básicas do time Death para complementar minha coleção, tendo finalmente comprado a minha primeira carta da família Fiend. A decisão por comprar a carta Corpose Fiend se deu por: eu estava monitorando ela, e a compraria uma hora ou outra; o valor do aluguel estava absurdo no momento que pesquisei; e por fim.. eu estava irado devido ao acúmulo de derrotas então não pensei muito e comprei.
Eu não tinha recurso para comprar a segunda carta da família Fiend, do splinter Water, então improvisei com essa e me dei muito bem.
Então, dois:
Consegui crescer mais rapidamente nas ligas e atingi a PRATA 1 com certa facilidade. Estabeleci uma meta diária de apenas 10 baús de Focus Points, assim conseguia manter meu ECR alto e mesmo com apenas dois times básicos Water e Death com summoners LVL 2 me sustentei por toda temporada no topo do rating PRATA 1 e 2. O custo de aluguéis não foi determinante para me sustentar na liga porque eu já tinha cerca de 15kcp de power. Então com poucas cartas extras eu já conseguia me manter no prata 2.
Com apenas 7,5kcp já é possível jogar na liga Prata III, então em pouco tempo me estabilizei na Prata 2 e mesmo estando satisfeito com a minha posição, acabei decidindo jogar na Prata 1, então banquei (sustentei) o aluguel necessário. A liga Prata 1 trouxe grandes resultados!

Essa batalha, por exemplo, mostra que eu jogava no modo Modern, com rating 2129, ganhando 7k pontos Focus Diário. Isso equivale a um baú, na primeira batalha do dia!! É muita coisa!! Isso só é possível se você jogar no segmento mais alto da liga. Então, três:
Vai ficar no Prata, que seja Prata 1. Na minha opinião, ir para a liga 3, seja qual for, vai restringir muito seu ganho de pontos Focus, impactando negativamente no seu resultado final (Baús diários + Baú de temporada)
Perto do final da temporada tomei uma decisão de arriscar um pouco mais, e levei meu incrível e invencível time para a liga de ouro. Decidi isso pois queria ganhar mais recompensas, é claro... e como o custo de power estava acessível, paguei para ver! Eu nunca havia disputado a liga ouro antes!
Finalmente, peguei meu Thaddius LVL 2 e subi para a liga Gold 1.
A primeira impressão que tive depois que acordei do coma, de tanta surra que levei, foi que o pessoal não sabe brincar. A primeira partida já enfrentei um summoner que eu nunca tinha nem visto, em LVL 6. E assim foram seis partidas de humilhação para o meu currículo.
Mas a favela apanha mas não se abala.
Com meus summoners alugados LVL 2, consegui encontrar meios para vencer algumas partidas e conquistar meu primeiro baú de ouro!
Não foi exatamente um final feliz, depois de apanhar tanto nas partidas.

Recent Splinterlands updates have totally changed the dynamics of the game. For a newbie like me, I didn't even have a stable development yet and I was already faced with big changes.
I have already covered in other posts the aspects of daily rewards. I've also told my story on how I got to Modern mode, and today it's time to tell my little experience in this game mode.
When I decided to try the modern mode I had to take into account that it would only be interesting if I played an entire season from the beginning, as it seems the game modes share the same *Energy Capture Rate* (ECR). So it's untenable to try to take both modes simultaneously as your daily rewards will drop drastically when you spend your ECR. I believe this is clear to everyone, so one:
That's what I did last season! The first few days of the season I focused on moving up the leagues as fast as I could, and then stabilizing in the SILVER league, which is where I play naturally. I quickly adapted to the Modern mode, no longer using the compositions that I kept for addiction and convenience in the standard Wild league.
Some games didn't go so well, sometimes with losing streaks. In a sequence of four defeats I decided that I would have to invest in some key cards, and due to my game profile and my financial characteristics, I ended up buying basic cards from the Death team to complement my collection, having finally bought my first card from the Fiend family . The decision to buy the Corpose Fiend card was made by: I was monitoring it, and I would buy it at one time or another; the rent was absurd at the time I researched; and finally.. i was irate due to the accumulation of defeats so i didn't think too much and bought it.
I didn't have the resources to buy the second Fiend family card, from splinter Water, so I improvised with this one and I did very well.
So two:
I managed to grow faster in the leagues and reached SILVER 1 quite easily. I set a daily goal of only 10 Focus Points chests, so I could keep my ECR high and even with just two basic Water and Death teams with LVL 2 summoners I sustained myself for the entire season at the top of the SILVER rating 1 and 2. The cost of rentals it wasn't decisive to sustain me in the league because I already had about 15kcp of power. So with a few extra cards I was already able to stay on silver 2.
With only 7.5kcp it is already possible to play in the Silver III league, so in a short time I stabilized myself in Silver 2 and even though I was satisfied with my position, I ended up deciding to play in Silver 1, so I paid (sustained) the necessary rent. The Silver 1 league brought great results!

This battle, for example, shows that I played in Modern mode, rated 2129, earning 7k Daily Focus points. This is equivalent to a chest in the first battle of the day!! It's too much!! This is only possible if you play in the highest tier of the league. So three:

Toward the end of the season I made a decision to take a little more risk, and took my incredible, invincible team to the gold league. I decided this because I wanted to earn more rewards, of course... and as the power cost was affordable, I paid to see! I had never played in the gold league before!
Finally, I took my Thaddius LVL 2 and moved up to Gold 1 league.
The first impression I had after I woke up from the coma, from so much beating I took, was that people don't know how to play. The first match already faced a summoner that I had never even seen, at LVL 6. And so there were six games of humiliation for my resume.
But the favela is beaten but not shaken.
With my LVL 2 rented summoners, I was able to find ways to win some matches and claim my first gold chest!
