Hello FreeCompliments community!
Edited: Initially this post would be to regret and tell how I was left out of the Hive Power Up Month competition. The original title of the post was "A mistake and postponing goals", which has been updated as you may have noticed. But I'm going to leave the writing order of the post as it was, to maintain the drama... so let's go:
Unfortunately, I started posting again before I intended, as I made an irremediable mistake regarding my project to win the Hive Power Up Month seal!
As I mentioned in my previous post, I started writing it on Tuesday, and intended to post it on Friday. This is because it would be unavailable due to an event with 1900 visitors over two days, in five shifts (morning, afternoon, evening, morning and afternoon).
It turns out that probably due to tiredness and anxiety about not missing the chance to win the seal, I ended up posting at the wrong time, because as you know I'm in Brazil, where the time is UTC -3.
Let's see what happened in the image
(unfortunately I can't take a printscreen showing this caption "mouseover" so I took a photo with my cell phone and made a simple montage)
Keeping the cursor over the day indicator, a caption appears detailing the date of the post, in this case there were two dates:
- Thursday, October 5, 2023 10:58PM
- Thrusday, October 5, 2023 11:40AM
With two posts on the 5th, and today being the 7th, the 6th failed and there is no way around it. Checking my hivebuzz account, I noticed that the days counter turned red:
But there is not enough cardiac preparation in this world. I thought about capturing this data through the Peakd interface, and behold, I came across a fundamental difference!
Red arrows show date and time information
We can notice that the posts are dated October 5th and 6th, with the time reference being GMT +0 which means that no, my friends... I'm not out of the competition!
"While Ecency shows local time, Peakd shows universal time"
So my friends, despite the scare and a little despair, I'm still fighting for the title. If this post turns my hivebuzz account green again, success is guaranteed!
I had already been shocked when two days ago the Hivebuzz system had not updated with my post from October 2nd, but the system has since returned to normal. Now, I've been trying to stay alive in the competition but I've had enough scares! I hope to continue without any more adversities.
A big hug to everyone!
