What things could we do differently to reduce climate change?

This is my first time joining here because I feel interested in the topic. It is all about how we could counterpart fighting to reduce the risk of climate change.

In the first place, I would like to let you know how we were affected by climate change. My parent is living in Bohol Philippines which is a place where always had affected by storms and the 2013 earthquake. How many times we had been devastated and it became a normal scenario already. Though it is normal for everyone, the fears of losing our home or losing a life are always on our minds every time the news announcement arrived.

Some of my suggestions to lessen the risk of climate change

I teach in the mountain and the forest still has many trees alive and all of our students are obliged to plant every year. It is part of their assignment every school year. The place where I live now is in normal shape most especially the spring water and the forest. We are surrounded by a lot of trees and an abundance of spring water. But we keep the re-forestation campaign all the way.

I would like to suggest to everyone to plant trees on our vacant land, in our backyard. Just keep it a little distance from your house if the place you are in is prone to stormy place.

Recycling our plastic containers into a useful method for planting vegetables and flowers than throwing them anywhere. Plastic became one of the most dangerous items that hurt mother nature and also our health. Do you hear about the latest news about how the researchers found plastic in the blood and lungs of human beings? I just heard it this week.

Keeping our garbage segregation procedure especially to those people living in the city, to avoid damage to our beloved nature and mother earth.

The use of gadgets too also one of the causes of climate change. We must properly use this and not only for just a game. Let our children know how to play the old method of organic games and not to 24 hours using of gadgets.

Let us avoid using aluminum foil to be heated in a fire. It will affect the sun.

Those are some of the basic ways how we could be a part of lessening the climate change problem on earth.

Everything will be getting started at home. We the parents are the best first educator to our children. Let us teach them well how to become responsible and how to take all the responsibility as human beings.

Thank you @ecotrain. This short suggestion could help a lot as long as everyone would take action not just for only words. Doing it silently is better than speaking a lot without determination and goal.
