This past time while I was treating my injury, I asked my uncle to help take care of it. Rub! Vegetables too much but not used all. Da Lat is about to enter the rainy season, the warm sun brings the temperature higher, so the crops grow smoothly and quickly.
In my current garden, I grow the most salads and short-term vegetables, they give a quick harvest and also serve as salads for the small restaurant outside. Some vegetables you can see like lolo (lolo rossa) salad are both green and purple. I usually use it to mix with sauce or use it directly with grilled meats.
In fact, Vietnamese people can eat a lot of vegetables, I can also eat 80% of the plants in the garden :)
The feature of this garden according to the terrain will receive the most sunlight in the morning, so salads are given priority to take advantage of light. Other vegetables such as roman, kale, oak salad, tomatoes are also light-loving plants that are added to other beds.
And these vegetables are harvested quickly and also need to plant new plants continuously, even if there are plants that grow too fast, the leaves become hard and bitter, it will be used to feed chickens and use compost born.
Some types of coriander and spices are planted in the surrounding beds to help supplement the garden, limiting bugs and aphids that damage plants thanks to their essential oil properties. Some of the ones I usually use: lettuce, marjoram, parsley, perilla, and rosemary, sweet, fresh and clean.
My uncle built a simple roof for me next to the composting shed. The damaged leaves are used to feed the chickens, and I use them in combination with the dried leaves to make compost. In addition, fresh rice husks are smoked and incubated for more than 3 hours, combined with dried coconut fiber to fertilize before planting. It improves and loosens the soil to help plants grow better.

There is a joy in addition to the time when making tea in the morning, what fruit can be picked, depending on the time when choosing edible fruit. Mulberry is the moment I like it the most. The fruits are pure black, neither too soft nor too hard, with a slight sourness. Not at all like strawberries, it has a mild sweetness, does not smell, it makes syrup or dips a little salt and chili to eat it will be very interesting.
Mulberry fruit does not know where you are, but this fruit in Vietnam is quite popular and diverse, depending on the soil and climate, the taste will be more diverse.
To prevent it from falling off when I don't eat it all, I'm thinking of soaking strawberry wine or making syrup for the kids. But I think children and adults alike will love my garden, because it is green and has interesting sounds next to these old pine trees.
Thank you for visiting my garden.
