Hello,

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

I am posting to Amazing Nature community again and theme this week for me will be animals. I decided to focus myself on one destination, or better say trip, only. This time I am sharing more or less all animals I encounter during my travel in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Bolivia back in 2018. I left out all the birds as I am sharing them in my posts to Feathered Friends community. Well my main travel reason was not animals here and I didn’t expect to see many of them during my travel, but was quite pleasantly surprised at the end. First opportunity to encounter with animals was on a typical gaucho ranch where we were staying. We saw a lot of sheep and horses and get to know a bit of each animal from the locals as well, mostly from watching their daily routine and how do they use these animals to survive. I have to admit that they really take care of these animals well.
I am always focusing more on wildlife and found some interesting animals grazing in the wild. I didn’t even know exactly what they are as these animals are uncommon for Europe and I am mixing alpacas and llamas all the time. At the end it turned out it was special specie, which lives only in Patagonia area and it is called Guanaco. It is very closely related with llama, but still it is special specie and it has to be noted like that as well.

Enjoy in my today’s gallery and wish you an amazing day.
