Promise (note story ) (UA/EN)

Завдяки повідомленням друзів @sokoloffa @artem-sokoloff, які після переїзду до Словакії почали ділитись досвідом життя з цієї країни, я зрозумів, що можливість жити за “цивілізованими” принципами не є фантастикою. Паралельно, бачачи реалії життя людей пенсійного віку та людей з обмеженнями в моїй країні, які для того, щоб мати можливість купити щось смачненьке, декілька разів на день відвідують смітник в пошуках чогось, що можна продати. Це не ті люди, що нишпорять по смітникам у пошуках заробітну на чергову пляшку, Це інші, ті що все життя живуть в квартирі, віддавши всю молодість ідеям рівності і щасливого відпочинку на пенсію.

Thanks to the messages of my friends @sokoloffa @artem-sokoloff, who after moving to Slovakia began to share their experience of living from this country, I realized that the opportunity to live by "civilized" principles is not fantastic. At the same time, seeing the realities of life of people of retirement age and people with disabilities in my country, who in order to be able to buy something tasty, several times a day visit the dump in search of something that can be sold. These are not the people who rummage through the garbage in search of a salary for another bottle, These are others who live all their lives in an apartment, giving all their youth to the ideas of equality and happy retirement.

Блін, мені реально стає страшно при одній думці, що я також рано чи пізно опинюсь на пенсії. Блін звучить, як вирок… Хоча…

Damn, I'm really scared at the thought that I will sooner or later retire. Damn, it sounds like a sentence… Although ...

Незважаючи на мою аполітичність, в такі моменти мені хочеться щось змінювати. А що я можу? Питання дуже не просте. Ймовірність змін, в суспільстві, що виховано і живе на 90% за принципом “Моя хата скраю - нічого не знаю” не надто висока.

Despite my apolitical nature, at such moments I want to change something. And what can I do? The question is not very simple. The probability of change in a society that is educated and lives 90% on the principle of "My house is on the edge - I know nothing" is not very high.

Перед тим як зосереджуватись на допомозі іншим, спочатку я планую забезпечити можливість пристойного життя “на моїй пенсії”. Під час цього шляху, я збираюсь дотримуватись основних цінностей, що дозволять мені з оптимістом дивитись в майбутнє і не боятись отримати віддачу за “законом бумерангу”. Під цінностями я розумію такі принципи, як ”не вкради” та не будувати свого достатку на обмані інших людей”. P.s. Дякую @vabadaba за поправку!

Before focusing on helping others, I first plan to ensure a decent life "in my retirement." Along the way, I am going to adhere to core values that will allow me to look to the future with optimism and not be afraid to reap the benefits of the "boomerang law." Що стосується інших, я буду з радістю допомагати тим людям, які потребують допомоги та навчати сина тому, що в “здоровому” суспільстві значно простіше стати “собою”. Ось така обіцянка (обітниця) вийшла в мене. Багато в чому, цей текст став результатом чудового дня, що я провів в колі сім'ї.

As for others, I will be happy to help those people who need help, and I teach my son because in a "healthy" society it is much easier to become "yourself". Here is such a promise came to me. In many ways, this text was the result of a wonderful day I spent with my family.
