As a self-taught artist, now is the time to share what I have learned in making my arts especially in coloring sessions (blending).
This anime character is one my favorite. -Dabi
MATERIALS:
- sketch pad
- color pencil
STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE:
1- Sketch the subject in grid lines.
These grid lines is good for trainee artists because it makes you concentrate more on the lines for positioning your drawing.
2- Hair color; choose the perfect shade.
3- body; work for detail by detail.
Use darker shade for shadows to give a realistic effect for progress.
After the subject, time to focus on galaxy effect.
HOW?
Afterwards, go for this pest bart!
Just continue until the galaxy effect will be finally echieved.
And here is the final output. I like how the color goes well. It took me a long time to finish yet it wasn't that complicated because I'm enjoying the blending of colors for the background.
Time and effort is all worth it!
