Hey everyone, weird heading right? Cuttings or slips as so referred by Wikipedia: A plant cutting is a piece of a plant that is used in horticulture for vegetative (asexual) propagation. A piece of the stem or root of the source plant is placed in a suitable medium such as moist soil. If the conditions are suitable, the plant piece will begin to grow as a new plant independent of the parent, a process known as striking. A stem cutting produces new roots, and a root cutting produces new stems. Some plants can be grown from leaf pieces, called leaf cuttings, which produce both stems and roots. The scions used in grafting are also called cuttings.

So what was I doing in this hothouse? My two year old Jesse is very adventurous and wanted to play, he loves to explore and it appears this his new best toy room.
What better place to play for a nature loving 2 year old with everything they could ever want in a play-pen? Sand, mud, water, little critters and plants galore, he loves flowers btw much like his Daddy.
Cycads are quiet a hot commodity in South Africa my landlord grows many of them? These however are not grown from cuttings but from seed.
Nature the incredible.
I trust you have a wonderful Tuesday.
Love, light and blessings.
Cheer$;)
