Making Steem more user friendly

Thank you @taskmaster4450 for your input on my last post questioning if Steem would be a one and done. I, as do many others, hope Steem takes off and becomes the next big social media. As in all things there are a few changes that need to happen to the interface before it enters the league of other large platforms.
The biggest one right now is your home screen. It is rather tedious to click on each person you are following to see what they have posted, I don't know, maybe I'm doing it wrong? If our home screen was able to show all the posts of who we are following or being filled by we would be able to submit more meaningful information, as we have that emotional connection with our readers. Where as now everyone is trying their best to sound intelligent so they will be up voted.
What would need to happen for that kind of change to happen??
