Why can we not delete OUR content? It's kind of hard to believe something is my property if I don't have the ability to delete it. I understand that the blockchain is composed of content. But, the deletion of content could be a way to create blocks too. A protocol could be put in place to delete content by the owner of the content. It would be similar to moving money out of one wallet and into another. Except, it would be burned in the new block instead. The new block could be content that simply states content was destroyed or burned. So we should have the freedom to move or delete our posts. Other platforms offer this feature.
Our views change over time, and we should have the ability to delete things we no longer agree with. We are not free unless we have this ability. So my proposition to Steemit is to add this feature.
