Nowadays, blockchain, the technology that revolutionized the means of payment, is also present in several areas such as real estate, notaries, agriculture, energy trading and does not stop there. I could spend a few more minutes listing how useful the blockchain is in our lives.
In Brazil, we will now have the digital diploma that will be based on blockchain where every university student will be able to acquire upon completing their graduation. MEC, the federal agency of the Ministry of Education, launched this novelty. Its validation is obtained by a digital certificate. So far, only two universities, one in Paraíba and the other in Rio Grande do Norte, may have this new feature.
For any enthusiast, it should be encouraging to be able to register your higher education diploma forever. I will even wait for this possibility, but for now this innovation is only for the new diplomas and the MEC forecast for other universities to have this technology, this solution is until the end of 2021.

With a digital diploma and immortalized in the blockchain it means that now we can have a low cost for institutions without forgetting to mention the speed that this can take since in some places it is common for the printing and release of a diploma to take weeks and even months.
My wife has already gone through a similar situation and in her case it was a second diploma and after months she can receive her diploma, as it was in another state that she dispatched. This is very common in many colleges that are not the parent. With the digital diploma based on blockchain we can also have security and authenticity with more guarantee to avoid fraud.
The government of Brazil intends to invest in more electronic environments in the future and the National Education and Research Network (RNP) is the developer of the digital diploma. About the environments, one that promises to be quite interesting, will be for the presentation of academic histories and for it to be launched in the near future it will depend on the performance of the institutions.
This is another big step that blockchain technology is taking and shows the seriousness and commitment that the government of Brazil is placing for this technological innovation. It will be very important that the country seeks to further deepen several sectors with the use of blockchain which I am sure will be very beneficial for everyone.

Hoje em dia o blockchain, a tecnologia que revolucionou o meio de pagamentos, está presente também em diversas áreas como o setor imobiliário, nos cartórios, na agricultura, na comercialização de energia e não para por aí. Poderia ficar mais alguns minutos listando o quanto que o blockchain está sendo útil em nossas vidas.
No Brasil, agora teremos o diploma digital que será baseado em blockchain onde todo universitário poderá adquirir ao concluir sua graduação. O MEC, orgão federal do Ministério da Educação lançou essa novidade. Sua validação é obtida por um certificado digital. Até o momento apenas duas universidades sendo uma na Paraíba e a outra no Rio Grande do Norte poderão ter essa novidade.
Para qualquer entusiasta deve ser animador poder registrar eternamente seu diploma de ensino superior. Eu inclusive irei aguardar por essa possibilidade, mas por enquanto essa inovação é apenas para os novos diplomas e a previsão do MEC para que outras universidades possam ter essa tecnologia essa solução é até o final de 2021.

Com um diploma digital e imortalizado no blockchain quer dizer que agora poderemos ter um baixo custo para as instituições sem esquecer de menicionar a rapidez que isso pode levar já que em alguns lugares é comum que a impressão e liberação de diploma demore semanas e até meses.
Minha esposa já passou por uma situação parecida e no caso dela era um segundo diploma e depois de meses ela pode receber seu diploma, pois era em outro estado que expedia. Isso é muito comum em muitas faculdades que não são a matriz. Com o diploma digital baseado em blockchain podemos ter também a segurança e a autenticidade com mais garantia de evitar fraudes.
O governo do Brasil pretende investir em mais ambientes eletrônicos no futuro e a Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa (RNP) é o desenvolvedor do diploma digital. Sobre os ambientes, um que promete ser bastante interessante, será para apresentação de históricos acadêmicos e para que seja lançado num futuro próximo dependerá do desempenho das instituições.
Esse é mais um grande passo que a tecnologia blockchain está alcançando e mostra a seriedade e compromisso que o governo do Brasil está depositando para essa inovação tecnológica. Será muito importante que o país busque aprofundar ainda mais diversos setores com a utilização do blockchain que tenho certeza de que será muito benéfico para todos.
