As for getting noticed....rather hard for me not to. I stand out in a crowd, I refuse to conform and I speak my piece. Although I do strive to be civil about it.

Also I thought self voting was frowned upon...case of bad manners from what I hear and a fast track to being ignored by those who one would want to earn acknowledgement from.
