When I was younger and was taught the ozone layer and how certain things could damage it, I really didn't pay much attention then or knew what damage mean exactly. Right now with so much talk of global warming and the melting of a normally year round frozen areas like the Antarctical, I think I have a little idea of the ozone layer depletion.

I know some people do not believe it when scientists tell us there is global warming and ice melting and so on as such we should reduce things that could contribute to its damage like fossil burning and carbon emission. Weather you believe it or not, it is still a good idea to protect where we live. Earth which has given us a home. earth arise.png

Living in a country located along the Atlantic Ocean's Gulf of Guinea, there are only two seasons, raining season (June to September) and dry season and instead of winter in December, we get the Harmattan (a cold dry period). Well, this is the normal schedule but that is not what we have today. The rains come when they want little or so heavy and consistent that homes are flooded over. And the northern part of the country experience so much heat from the sun, that it is a miracle to survive.

So yes, for me these are evidences of global warming. If we don't care for and protect mother nature, it will arise and protect itself with floods and all. She will succeed in driving us out and then where would we call home?
