I love the Chinese proverb "a flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful".

Troubles come our way all the time, how we handle them is what makes all the difference.

Bully as terrible as it is has been in existence for a long time. As a kid, I was picked on in school at the primary and secondary level (5th and 6th grade) by a particular girl and her friends, unfortunately they were my classmates.
I never knew why I was the "chosen one" nor did I report it. I didn't at the time think it was worth reporting. Once she pushed me down in the middle of a full class and everyone laughed at me as I was trying to stand up to her (mostly I ignore her).

Remembering this saddens me even now but it was an adversity and thankfully I had good people around me. It also helped that after the 6th grade (jss 1), we were placed in different classes and I never saw much of her again.

Perhaps it was the times I grew up in that strenghtened me, perhaps it was because I had one friend or might be because I had a great family unit or maybe she wasn't as mean as bullies of today. If I got through it and many who were bullied also survived it then so can anyone who is being bullied. So you are not alone, just reachout before making a drastic decision.

The flower might have fragile petals but give it time, feed and nurture it and it will bloom and be the envy of all.IMG_20180315_093755_306.JPG
