Close-ups of a few recent abstract spray paint artworks

Here are several close up photos of some abstract spray paintings I did recently to enter into a regional art show. The actual artwork is much larger. These are just close ups to show off the different colors and textures of the paintings.

All the pieces were painted with aerosol paint; Krylon, Rust-Oleum, and ColorShot, and some sort of liquid added at different steps while painting. These used either, isopropyl alcohol (70 percent to 90 percent, depending on what I needed at the time), fresh water, salt water, borax water, and others. In some photos you might be able to make out tiny salt or borax crystals growing on the canvas.

In a few photos are can see how the paints are still floating while other paintings have dried and are showing their texture better. After they were all dry I added a few layers of high gloss clear acrylic to help protect them from UV light, scratches, and to help their color pop better.

I am not sure if I will be digitalizing the finished paintings or not. If I do I will at the least offer some prints for sale, and maybe I will add some to an NFT marketplace or two.

This is salt or borax water flowing with the wet blue paints, there should be a slightly greener shade of color in some spots, but the photo came out very blue. The salt/borax water dried into a tiny thick white crystals, sort of a crust. Then I dropped it and half the paint fell off. The finished painting still came out well, just not what I had planned.
