Having an account (or a curation trail) curating good content, helping new and old underrated users, but with a strong eye on how much one extracts from Hive could be somewhat of a start

Indeed, that is also what I have been thinking. A curation group that sets some ground rules when it comes to value extraction, and even leaves comments on good content form users who are a net negative on Hive that they would have gotten an upvote if it wasn't for their value extracting behavior.

I'm also sure a lot of the HP delegations would flow out to this and I would not mind delegating some myself. I have thought about starting something like that myself but I don't have the time and tecnical skills. It would be nice to have a curation mechanism where users can summon a vote (like the old 'minnowsupport' system) like once or twice a week with clear rules in terms of the content and the overall contributution. Or something like the old busy.org upvotes wich took in consideration the amount of followers you have an their total stake on the platform.
