It's also just a reality that earnings need to be sustainable one way or another so you can't expect to buy cards once and make good profit forever especially since it's easy to bot the game. I just think they are going about it in a wrong way always putting the focust on economy and pay2win instead of fully going for fun and gameplay that is easily available for new players in an affordable way.
I don't think many play Wild manually and all the modern players who saw their chaos legion cards get dumped into wild probably won't have too good of an experience there. Survival mode is somewhat of a solution but it just suffers from the same issues. Similar to Modern which suffers from the fact that players are obligated to grind daily and that just cuts out 99% of the potential player base as few really have time for it.
