The one thing I hope is that it's a fun new game mode where everyone actually is on a level playing field, which is friendly to new players and not too complicated while giving older cards back some actual use case.

Looking at all the history of things that have been changed or added, I highly doubt it though. My belief in Splinterlands for a while now has really been at an all-time low.
