The odds right now are done in a centralized automated way for as far as I know and move along with the market in general when there are big moves. They are unable to limit individual players which is both a good and a bad thing as they need to have something in place so they don't get crushed which would mean a lot of extra coins would be minted. They also announced that they will be working with existing bookies who will use their platform as a way to hedge their positions. The product by no means is perfect at the moment, but good enough to be worth more in market cap in my view. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
