Pretty good Tuesday despite the only pre-game bet winning. For first in quite a long time I saw some good value and was willing to risk 0.75 units on a position that almost ended up losing which would have been a miracle given how it was looking the entire time after taking the bets. It came through in the end putting me on some healthy profit so far for this mid-week and I'm looking forward to 4 more matches today.

Zulte-Waregem vs Union

Zulte-Waregem is now finding themselves in 2nd last place despite having a team that should never be in that pace and results that have crushed their Asian handicaps as betting Zulte-Waregem blindly all season long would have resulted in +23.11% ROI which indicates that they are valued on the market wrongly. They however are covering only their away handicaps (7W-2L) while at home they have been break even. Their problem is that when they do lose, it tends to be blow-out losses. let that be something Union is good at which made this result in a -1.25 line for the visitors. They are however crushing the Asian line in their away matches (6.5W-1L-1.5P) and are still in a good form. If my hand was forced, I would always go for Union -1.25 in this specific case. Union is 11-3 on 10 corners or more in their matches, Zulte-Waregem 10-7 and at home even 6-2. Union also won their 4 last away 1st halves and haven't lost a single one this season while Zulte at home ranks rather low. Zulte is 8-1 on 2nd halves with at least 2 goals at home, Union is 7-2 on this. So plenty of stats to go by for in-game betting action while for now I'm just staying away with No Pre-Game Bets

Kv Mechelen vs AA Gent

Mechelen is a team with both really good and rather poor performances while AA Gent right now is in great form overall. Gent is on a 4-game winning streak while Mechelen is without a win in their last 3 league matches and they are suffering from quite some injuries even though few of them are full A-Squad players. AA Gent will be without important midfielder Odidja. If anything, AA Gent has been showing excellent defending as of late rarely getting goals against and on average this season their away matches only had 1.67 goals on average. I'm going into this match with a lean on AA Gent 1H -0.25 / AA Gent FT -0.5 / AA Gent Team Total Over but I'm waiting to possibly get some kind of confirmation before placing any bets. If vadis played I would have gone for the visitors -0.5 @ 2.0+, but for now, No Pre-Game Bets

OH Leuven vs Club Brugge

Club Brugge played an ok match against Zulte-Waregem last weekend but still gave plenty of open chances away despite keeping a clean sheet. Their goalkeeper Mignolet also just isn't in a good form right now and one of the main angles I'm looking at is them not to keep a clean sheet. With OHL getting 1.4 type odds the score a goal it's hard to say this has gone unnoticed by the bookies though. OHL lost their last 2 matches and are less used to having a mid-week match. The home match against AA Gent which was lost by 0-1 can be seen as a reference for this one. OHL got behind quite early but showed that they are an ok team mostly pushing late in the match with AA Gent failing to exploit the space on the counters. I do like Club Brugge in this match despite the fact that I wouldn't be surprised to see OHL scoring a goal. Club is one of the better 1H teams while OHL ranks way below in those rankings at home. This made me quite comfortable taking an initial pre-game bet on Club Brugge 1st Half -0.25 @ 1.835 for 0.25 units which leaves all options open for more In-game bets.

Standard vs Beerschot

I still have no clue how Standard managed to win away against Antwerp last weekend but once again they showed that they are just not a good team that can be trusted. They have good intentions but really do lack the quality and also won't have their home support due to the events of last match and also have some injured/suspended players with Raskin, Amallah, Bokadi. Beerschot briefly had a better run, but now again are with 3 losses in a row and their offense is just not good enough. I don't expect a wide-open match with lots of quality in front of the goal and I opted for a small 0.25 unit pre-game bet on Under 2.75 @ 1.845 as a pre-game betting position. I don't see enough quality to make this into a match where goals come easily.
