Small profit overall on Saturday despite none of the matches being all too exciting betting wise. Lots of rain here in Belgium today and this will for sure have an influence on the 4 matches that will be played on Sunday. I took a deeper look into all of them and this is what came out of it...

Antwerp vs Charleroi

Antwerp took a 0-3 win away against a poor Waasland last week breaking the losing streak they were in while Charleroi found their good form again being unbeaten in the last 4 matches taking 3 wins. Because the winning and losing streaks both these teams went on, I don't put all too much importance on trends they used to have. My default setting right now is to consider backing Charleroi when they are the underdog. Antwerp ranks quite high in home 1st half table while Charleroi is pretty low in Away 1st half standings which makes me cautious. I do expect a match where it will mostly be Antwerp taking the initiative and Charleroi keeping things organized in defense. The current odds look quite sharp and I rather wait it out to see if there is a better opportunity live. No Pre-Game Bets

Racing Genk vs Waasland

Waasland had a great run but seem to have lost their way a bit losing their last 2 matches with 3-0 and 0-3 (both against good opponents). They were known as a bottom team that managed to score most matches and they also could have done so in the previous 2 matches. Racing Genk played an ok home match last week against Kortrijk who came to play. They are complete and will be able to field their A-Squad. Their pitch should also be fine. For as far as betting goes, I'm not confident enough in Genk to back them as I don't see Waasland without chance as they should be capable of scoring. Odds seem to be set quite right with the home team being a -1.5 favorite and the over line at 3.25 which is too high for me to consider. The only pre-game bet I took is Waasland +3 corners @1.961 despite the low limits as Genk is an under Corners team while Waasland generally holds up pretty well. The visitors to score is also a bet I am keeping in mind but I will need to see how the pitch is holding up first and hoping for an Over 0.5 line instead of the Over 0.75 early in-game. Both teams to score @ 1.8+ is also an option.

Anderlecht vs Beerschot

Anderlecht basically turned into a defensive-minded counter team and haven't been giving all too much away lately. Tau will be back but it will likely be his last match for the team. Murillo won't be available and I just can't help but be unimpressed by the names and quality in their team. Beerschot has lost their last 2 matches and did not play last week due to a postponed match. They are no longer the crazy over team that blindly attacks making them get many goals against. There is however always a chance they go back to their old ways but I'm willing to take that risk as the total line is set quite high given the fact how Anderlecht has played recently with Solid defense without really creating much. I expect a match where both teams are not going to be willing/capable to take much risk and got a pre-game trading position in on 1st Half Under 1.25 @ 1.950 (I shared this yesterday on the SBC Discord) and also a small bet on Under 3 @ 2.021. My lean goes toward Beerschot +1 but I'm not sure if they are a team I trust since they have these off-days at times. I basically need some strong confirmation in order to get more bets in.

Mechelen vs Moeskroen

Mechelen took a deserved win against OHL which was needed as they have been playing well without taking the points. Tonight, they play against direct opponent Moeskroen who a last but haven't lost in their last 3 matches. Mechelen surprisingly ranks 1st in the 1st half standings at home while Moeskroen has not lost a single 1st half away so far. Mechelen has an average of 0.89 goals at home in their 1st halves while Moeskroen has an average of 0.33. I do expect Mechelen to try and move forward with high intensity early on and Moeskroen sticking to their defense which has been solid. combined they are 13W-3L-3P on the 1st Half Under 1 line which made me take a small position on 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.18. I'm not comfortable with anything else in terms of pre-game bets.
