These are previews from matches involving Belgian Teams with all the latest on team news, player form, injuries along with my personal betting angles, ...

So far this has been one of the weeks where I had the least betting action going with a very limited loss as the overall result. For Sunday, however, I have a bigger bet with enough confidence to take extra over at Copytip and in BTC (EOS/WGR). I Shared it yesterday evening on both the SBC Discord & on Twitter (@costanzabets) at the time of taking. I kind of anticipated a line move which is exactly what happened overnight.

So regardless of what happens (unless the line moves all the way back by Kick-off), this one should be +EV in the long run which is the one thing I aim for.
Here are the Previews for today...

Anderlecht vs Antwerp

Anderlecht won last week with 1-3 away from Kortrijk but didn't really play a good match getting the victory handed out to them pretty much. So far this season they had a very easy schedule but are only 4W-5D-1L. They faced 1 real test so far away against Club Brugge where they got totally destroyed and were put with their feet back on the ground as the gap in quality difference was huge. That match ended in 3-0 for CLub Brugge but it could have been much more. Today they face their 2nd test against Antwerp who has picked up a great form and just won deserved from Tottenham at home last Thursday in the Europa League Anderlecht will still be without Trebel while Murillo and Verschaeren are questionable. The main unknown variable in this match for is is how Antwerp will present themselves after a mid-week match and a stunt win. I do see them as the team with more quality and have them on my underrated list while Anderlecht is on my list of teams to oppose against solid teams. I'm willing to take the risk of Antwerp showing some signs of decompression on this one as I see this match where the home team once again might be faced with the reality that they simply aren't good enough at the moment. There will also be no fans in the stadium. I took medium-sized bets on Antwerp Team Total Over 1 @ 1.735 & Antwerp +0 @ 2.539. I also took Antwerp +0 @ 2.50 on Copytip and extra in BTC on Antwerp -0.5 on both Wagerr @ 3.63 and Sportbet.one @ 3.50

Standard vs Oostende

Standard had a moment this season where they actually looked to have solved their problem of not being reliable looking quite strong actually. The last couple of weeks, however, they haven't managed to confirm this as they have gotten themselves in a bad streak. They lost last week 2-0 against Sint-Truiden and also lost both of their Europa League matches in-between. They are still without Raskin, Balikwisha, Muleka & Lestienne which adds to the fatigue of the other players. Today they play Oostende who has been one of the revelations this season as a team that plays with a lot of pressure. They are unbeaten in their last 5 with 4 wins and 1 draw. The wins came against 'poor' opponents while the draw was away against Genk which was a fair result. I like Oostende to have a fair chance today. They did not play a match last week and not home fans will be in the stadium. I split a couple smaller bets on Oostende 1st Half +0.25 @ 1.845 (They often play excellent 1st halves). Oostende Team Total Over 1 @ 1.860 I'm also interested in the corners market but odds aren't available at the moment. I will share on Discord in case I end up taking something on those.

Waasland vs AA Gent

So far, things just haven't gone AA Gent their way. The board made some big mistakes when it comes down to coach assignment. They fired Thorup who now is doing excellent in Genk, They got Boloni which was a total miscast and gave De Dekker his chance which is also not really working out. They played a good match against Genk last week but still lost 1-2 in what was ha real hold-up and simply weren't good enough against Hoffenheim. Today they play against Waasland who are at the bottom of the standings. Waasland did break their 6-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw at home against Genk 3+ weeks ago and saw their 2 last matches being postponed last week due to corona cases. In that match, they played without fear especially playing a good first half. The big questions today are how the long break will affect Waasland and how the fatigue and bad run will affect AA Gent. The market seems to be clear seeing this as the match where Gent stands up and reverses their streak. This certainly is a possibility as they are still on top when it comes down to statistics as chances created. Odidja will be back for AA Gent who is of key importance. I could make a case for both Waasland taking something in this match and for AA Gent to have a blow-out win. Both cases involve goals so I took a small initial bet in on Over 3.25 @ 1.950 I also got a small bet in on Over 9.5 Corners @ 1.830. Waasland is 4-0 on those at home while AA Gent covered this line in their last 5 matches. I will likely add on these bets live maybe getting them to a bigger position.
