You don't need the pets if you go full Free2Play mode just trying to get a quick buck or if you create a bunch of alt accounts just to get some extra crypton for your main account. Pets are super useful

I got exactly the same sense with Thetan Arena, for sure one of the more fun Play2Ean Games out there but the entire play2earn model for 90% of the players I would say is unlikely going to be profitable.
