I got exactly the same sense with Thetan Arena, for sure one of the more fun Play2Ean Games out there but the entire play2earn model for 90% of the players I would say is unlikely going to be profitable.

There are a lot of dynamics to it and it takes a while to grasp how everything is connected. I would say go through some of the articles I wrote also exploring the Play2Earn mechanics that were added.
