Most people who know me even a little know that I like the "middle".
I won't typically take a side for various reasons; really good reasons too. That middle ground is roomy. I rather like it there. There are microscopes on one table, tarot cards on another, Jung lurking suspiciously near the bookshelf, and somebody has left the door open to the night sky ... so I can sneak out for a quick peek to see if the Aliens are watching.
But... the Clancy trial. That one had me backing away, something felt really wrong.
Really off.
Really wicked.
There are children perishing in deserts and on Middle Eastern streets. There are people buried under mud in Nepal. The world is ignoring global tragedies and going for private blood like like some kind of twisted witch hunts. We have Epstein and the Emmys?
What is happening to us?
The vortex of energy around the horror of the situation is mind bending. Right? So, when I read the following commentary, on somebody's Facebook wall ...
"I think it’s another energy harvesting psyop and it’s working because it’s keeping the normies entertained and arguing - and more importantly, divided. I’m not siding with anyone and/or saying it did/didn’t happen. Just food for thought."
So, the guy posts a list of weird and creepy similarities with both cases: The Clancy case, and another. I fact checked it.
It’s almost identical to a case in Ireland from 2020. A mother of 3 — also a pediatric nurse — suffocated her 3 kids while her husband was at work.
She was found not guilty by reason of insanity as she had postpartum, was on a cocktail of SSRI’s and had visited a hospital a week earlier and wasn’t admitted.
Exact same story.
Here’s what checks out:
Same calendar date: yes. Deirdre Morley unalived her three children in Ireland on January 24, 2020.
Lindsay Clancy unalived her three children in Massachusetts on January 24, 2023, exactly three years later.
Both women were nurses: yes. Morley was a pediatric nurse; Clancy was a labor-and-delivery nurse.
Three children in each family: yes.
The initials are really bizarre: Morley’s children were Conor, Darragh and Carla, while Clancy’s were Cora, Dawson and Callan. So arranged by initials, both families do give you C-D-C.
Both women had serious psychiatric histories before the deaths: very much yes. Morley had been deteriorating psychiatrically for quite some time. Doctors had actually wanted her admitted as an inpatient about two months beforehand. Clancy had just completed a five-day inpatient stay at McLean Hospital, being discharged January 5, nineteen days before the deaths.
Both attempted suîcîde afterward: yes.
Morley was indeed ultimately found not guilty by reason of insanity. Her psychiatric illness was not some courtroom invention after the fact; expert evidence described severe psychotic depressive illness, and the judge essentially told jurors that the psychiatric evidence all pointed in the same direction.
You've got two women working in healthcare, both mothers of three young children, both experiencing catastrophic psychiatric deterioration, both embedded in medical systems that had already recognized that something was badly wrong, both unaliving their children on January 24, exactly three years apart, and their children's names happen to produce the same initials.
That is a hell of a coincidence.
What will they tell us to focus on next?
How will they keep us distracted and divided?
Who are they, anyway?
Any ideas? I vote for Godzilla. Godzilla would at least have the decency to be obvious. No vague "information operation," no shadowy algorithmic nudge, just SKRAAAAW ← (very loud screech), then everybody agrees there is a giant lizard problem, and for one shining hour humanity is united.
Misdirection has been used by magicians, politicians and power brokers for as long as people have been alive. Distinguishing what is real from what is merely another divisive tool seems to be getting harder with every year that passes...
