I'm no expert in this area, but recently i've been teaching myself how to weave paracord, thanks to youtube. It's challenging, but also quite therapeutic.
550 paracord is basically a super strong type of string originally used on parachutes by airborne divisions in the military. It's made up of a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope which has a minimum breaking strength of 550 pounds of weight.
Ok enough of the boring stuff, here are some photos.
I've attached them to machetes, hatchets, flashlights, firesteels and my keys so far. It's important to have extra cordage if you're going hiking or camping or on long roadtrips on motorbikes.
I ordered 100 feet of this from Amazon & apparently i've been busy ever since, haha.
