I have crows.

I always have crows.

They follow me everywhere and I love it.

I take pictures of crows.

I search constantly for new ways to see them.

New ways to share them with others.

Some days I look in the mirror and I like who is reflected back at me.

She is beautiful and proud and accomplished and radiant.

She's doin' all right and she's doin' it right.

She is me and I'm proud to be her.

Other days I look in the mirror and...

Dear God...

Why did I bother to wake up this morning?

But, most days,

I look in the mirror and see this:

Plain old ordinary every day crow just doing what it takes to get by.
Just like everybody else.
