Feathersome.
I looked it up, half expecting to find that it was a full fledged word with a definition that didn't match its plumage. Something like meddler or snoop or the like:
He was a feathersome little man, always getting involved in other people's private affairs.
All I found was a library of string quartet samples, a couple social media accounts, a dormant facebook page for uplifting women, and a half-assed wiktionary definition stating the obvious that the word meant something like characterized as full of feathers, or feathered.
Of course, Google only ever shows me what Google thinks I want to see, as well as what others pay Google to show me, because Google is a sentient entity all its own and does whatever the fuck it needs to survive and thrive.
So there could be hundreds of other fanciful uses for feathersome out there on the infobahn not meant for my eyes.
Still, I find small comfort in knowing that the next time I decide to search for feathersome on the magic chrome 8 ball it will show me this blog. This blog that I wrote. Because, obviously, Google, you would want to show me my own content. I certainly go back and look at it often enough...
and moan and roll my eyes and question why I thought that content had any merit or those words were worth publishing.
Who knows, though, if it will turn up for anyone else.
