Hey guys!
This story was too good not to share. I was at a family reunion last week where I saw a lot of family members I haven't seen in a long time. We were getting together for my grandma's 80th birthday.
I got to chatting with my favorite uncle on the topic of investments, gold politics and other such interesting topics. Somewhere he mentioned Jeff Berwick in the conversation and i was like... whhhaaa?. I told him I had gone to Anarchapulco this last year and we went down this super fun Anarchy tangent talking about all the people we like to follow in the movement.
It kind of blew his mind when I told him I would be speaking alongside the likes of Jeff Berwick and Lukewearechange at Anarchadelphia! (ps... it's going to be a crazy, epic, awesome event and you should totally come. Check out the website HERE and use the code Lea to get a discount. Also - you can follow @stateofanarchy and

Okay... back to the story. The conversation moved to crypto and he mentioned how sad he was to see awesome, anarchist creators getting demonetized - simply for calling sh*t out. I was about to ask him if he'd heard of Steem and he literally asked me if I had heard of @dtube because it seemed like a good decentralized solution for these creators.
How crazy is that??? Umm... I guess I've heard of it. 😂
I showed him my channel, the @steemsistershow and how long I'd been using the platform. This whole conversation was just the craziest intersection of things. It's pretty rare I run into people in my everyday life who know about all this stuff and are stoked to talk about it - let alone an Uncle at a family reunion!
I thought you guys would enjoy this story and had to share! I hope we all have stories like this soon where at family reunions we have our uncles, grandmas and cousins asking us if we've heard of Dtube, Palnet, @appics,
@actifit or any of the other awesome dapps that use our blockchain.
