퇴적된 유기물이 용출되면서 조류가 무섭게 번식한 하천에 버들치들이 유유히 헤엄치고 있다.

버들치의 운명은 저 바닦에서 빠르게 성장하고 있는 조류에 달려있다.
아마도 버들치들은 조류들이 서서히 목을 조르고 있다는 사실을 모를 것이다.

하지만 도로를 적실 정도의 작은 비가 지속적으로 내려 도로에 존재하던 유기물들이 하천으로 쓸려 들어가 축적되고 날씨가 따뜻해지면 조류가 빠르게 성장하여 수중에 녹아있는 산소를 소비하고 하천은 산소 결핍 현상이 오게된다. 하천의 수중에 산소가 결핍 되면
조류도 스스로 사멸하고 부패되어 생물체가 살수 없는 환경이 조성된다.

큰비가 내리게 해달라고 기도하는 것 밖에는 아무것도 없다.
