Yeah, it was pretty bad. She lost the use of her right hand for a while and almost had to undergo some invasive surgery. Fortunately, the antibiotics did the trick. I remember her saying she lost count after 16 bags of various IV fluids and drugs!! When they released her, she used her flute and guitar playing for therapy to recover the use of her hand. The musical instruments did more for her than the PT did. I'm happy to say that she regained 98% use of her hand. Lesson learned......never let a cat bit go! Have a purrr-fect day!
